Located within one of the most exclusive residential streets of Rome, 10 minutes drive from the historic center, surrounded by greenery and a panoramic view of the beautiful city of Rome.
Crossing the manor gate you enter a unique and evocative context, after crossing the tree-lined avenue at the side of a well-kept lawn there is the main villa of about 1200 sqm that was restored with fine finishes in the 1990s and has a beautiful park of about 7000 sqm. The villa includes 12 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.
In the late 1940s Aldo Gucci, who had moved to Rome from Florence to follow the expansion of the family business, began construction of the villa, which he completed in 1951.
The villa is inspired by a mix of English style with Tuscan accents. In fact, Aldo’s wife was born in the United Kingdom, which is why there are typical bow-windows and other typical decorations, in the two facades of the house. He went to live there with his children and their respective spouses, then when the family continued to grow the children went to live in other houses, but they used to gather all together for holidays or other important events in the “Family House.”
The second villa with access from Via Pecori Giraldi was also built by Aldo Gucci in the early 1960s for one of his sons.
The two villas have both belonged to the Gucci family for many, many years; now the heirs have decided to find a buyer who can breathe new life into the property, enhancing its value.
The property is surrounded in total by about 10,000 square meters of parkland, behind a private gate opens a wonderful main entrance surrounded by trees at the bottom of which stands the first main villa. Below the large garden with a separate entrance there is then a second villa that is in need of renovation. The English-style villas are elegant and refined and have large, bright windows that open the view to the green parkland.
For parking cars there is an indoor garage and a covered outdoor space.
In the greenery surrounded by the park, there sits a magnificent swimming pool, served by an outbuilding used as changing rooms with bathrooms, a large garage and a tool shed.
The main villa is well maintained with excellent finishes. There is a convenient elevator connecting all floors.
The second villa of about 900 square meters, which needs renovation, is on three levels and has independent access surrounded by a park of about 3000 square meters including a greenhouse for plants and two outbuildings.
The villas sita at a cost of €15,000,000.
